Just wanted to share...

 These are just a couple of pieces that I was able to create last semester. It was a great experience and extremely therapeutic. My absolute favorite is the distorted self- portrait. Hope this inspires everyone to get ARTSY !!!!

Bring On The Pattern & Neon

If anyone has been to ZARA (my favorite) or any commercial retail store for that matter you are sure to have noticed the funky prints/patterns and the bright colors hanging off the mannequins. Combine those bright pink and neon green pieces girls and your sure to make headlines! By the way, if any of you are wondering ... That striped tube top body suite is definitely my favorite piece and it will most likely continue to show up on this blog, lol. Although I am dangerously addicted to ZARA, American Apparel and Online hot spots like Zappos, mod cloth and a few other secret places, I am also an avid believer in thrift stores and second hand stores. Just as my fabulous red blazer from the earlier post, I snagged this amazing neon green skirt at my local Goodwill. All it takes is a vision and some patience and your bound to find a little treasure for a great price!

Taking a classic theme (nautical) and adding a bit a mystery and sass  by pairing it up with bold, black, high waisted shorts from American Apparel, lace stockings and a red blazer from your favorite thrift store. That fabulous blazer cost me just three dollars! Mix and match all your favorite pieces to create and re-create classics with a fabulous twist. GO ROGUE!
